Tracks 1.7 upgrade, SMS working

The ability to send new todos via SMS and email works with the new version of Tracks now; sorry that it was disabled until now.  I’ve also tweaked the CSS slightly and enabled OpenID.  Let me know if there are any issues with the new version!

I’m using Outlook to send e-mail tasks to tracks. In the subjectfield I put the taskname + @context + !Project. But in some strange way Tracks does not recognize it and the task never ends up in my tasklist. It works allright when I send an email without context or project. Strange isn’t it ?

I’m trying to use OpenID to log into the system.

So with my yahoo account, I’ve entered yahoo.com in the box and I’m led to Yahoo servers to Accept the site has access to my data.

Then I’m redirected back to the tracks.tr.in login with this message.

Sorry, no user by that identity URL exists (https://me.yahoo.com
    a/0vrRQqQRvvWFoQ.liGZ1JzjHZGcpsg–)

I’ve also tried pasting my Google account profile http: address in the login ID.
Both approaches return a no ID URL exists.

    What could be the problem?

Hi Michael, you need to set up your tracks.tra.in account to use OpenID first to be able to use Google or Yahoo with tracks.tra.in.

First log in with your conventional password and go to http://tracks.tra.in/preferences, then below under “Your authentication” change your authentication type to open_id and your Identity URL should be set to http://me.yahoo.com/USERNAME.

I tested it with my Yahoo account just now and it worked. Let me know if you have any trouble!

    Thanks, it works now.

I thought you would not need to create an additional account in the database before switching to OpenID authentication.
